Design is both a strategic and a creative discipline. Distinguishing it from other creative disciplines, design typically has a function to perform – a poster delivering a message, an interface providing access, a logo identifying a company, a product addressing a need, a package protecting and delivering a product, etc.
My design work attempts to strategically meet project goals and achieve functionality in an inclusive and creative manner, in interesting and meaningful ways.
As mentioned elsewhere on this site and in my lectures, I place an emphasis on the story and feel a responsibility to tell the subject’s story, through design, in a manner that does justice to, and is deserved by, the story itself.
I have had the opportunity to apply my strategic and creative efforts to exhibition design, film, video and audio production, installation and event design, software and systems development, web and mobile, branding and identity, product design, packaging, marketing and advertising, collateral and clothing, and industrial design. I’ve attempted to provide a representative mix of my work within this section.
