Morning Owl Coffeehouse

In 2009 my cousin and his wife opened the Morning Owl Coffeehouse. I helped them with some conceptual work prior to opening and then dove straight in to design. It has been a lot of fun turning out design work of all kinds. From working on the name, to developing the brand (logo, brand book), through to the store signage (internal, external), web site, social media, and the many, many collateral pieces (both functional and marketing), the work I do for the Morning Owl is a good venue for me to basically pull off whatever I want without a bureaucracy and large field of stakeholders. It is a lot of fun - just like the Morning Owl itself. Some of the work, that I thought showed the dynamic mix of seriousness and playfulness that is the Morning Owl, is displayed below.
